We all know: The future is green - and recycling plays an important role in this. For us too. We from daff have been setting out for many years to discover exciting, sustainable materials and concepts for our products. Under the LEATHERIXX label, we have applied the recycling idea of creating something new from something old to our placemats and glass coasters in our very own way. daff Art realised.
The daff LEATHERIXX series includes placemats and glass coasters made from recycled leather with a dumbo embossing, a surface structure reminiscent of elephant skin.

The daff LEATHERIXX series includes placemats and glass coasters made of recycled leather with crocodile embossing (Gator), a surface structure reminiscent of crocodile skin.
We design, create and produce in Germany.
Many expressive colours such as sun, pool green and very berry and more muted shades such as slate, delfino, taupe or graphite can be combined to create the desired atmosphere when decorating the table.
Whether round, oval, organic, square or star-shaped - with the various daff shapes, you can put together your own individual, sustainable table decoration.

Recycled leather is made from leather remnants that are produced as offcuts during manufacturing. In a creation process, these leather remnants are further processed and then applied to natural latex. The result is a hard-wearing material that can be dyed just as well as real leather or artificial leather. This makes recycled leather perfect for the colourful world of daff.
For the unmistakable look of our daff We emboss the recycled leather in a dumbo look on placemats and daff glass coasters. The texture of this embossing is reminiscent of elephant skin and therefore perfectly matches the feel of the leather.
