Originally (since 2001) the name daff for wool felt. To be more precise, for placemats, glass coasters and home accessories made of wool felt. But we have continued to develop: Always on the lookout for new, exciting and above all sustainable materials, a few years ago we came across the idea of making PET felt from recycled plastic bottles. We were immediately inspired by this idea! Beautiful, hard-wearing placemats instead of plastic bottles in the oceans. Today, placemats and glass coasters made from PET felt are available from us in many bright colours and shapes. PET felt looks almost like wool felt.

And the best thing is: every PET felt placemat ensures that less plastic ends up in the sea. Because: For one daff table set, we use five PET bottles - before they end up as rubbish in the sea. This is our small contribution to preventing the oceans from being polluted with even more harmful plastic.
